Terms of Use
Last updated October 1, 2026
These terms cover your use of the pushr app and the hosted pushr service. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
The service
pushr receives HTTP requests you send with a source-app token and delivers them as notifications to the devices on your account. The iPhone app is also licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies alongside these terms.
Your account
Keep your password and source-app tokens private; anyone with a token can send pushes to you. You're responsible for activity under your account. You can delete it anytime in Settings → Delete account.
Acceptable use
Don't use pushr to:
- Send to people who didn’t ask. Shared apps are for people who accepted your invite.
- Break the law. No unlawful, infringing or harmful content in notifications.
- Abuse the service. No attempts to overload it, get around plan limits or access other accounts.
We may suspend accounts or revoke tokens that break these rules or put the service at risk.
Your content
You own what you send. You give us permission to store, process and deliver it only as needed to run pushr for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Pro subscriptions
The free plan includes 1,000 pushes a month, one source app and 7 days of history. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. When offered, Founder Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro for as long as pushr operates, with no renewal; it doesn't cancel an existing subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple, and a refunded purchase no longer unlocks Pro.
Self-hosting
The pushr backend is open source under its license; the iPhone app is not. If you run your own backend, these terms still cover the app, but we don't operate or support your server.
No warranty
pushr is provided as is. Notification delivery depends on networks, Apple and your device, so we can't guarantee every push arrives or arrives on time. Don't rely on pushr as your only alert for anything where a missed notification could cause harm.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for pushr in the 12 months before it.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; if a change is significant we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Questions: privacy@pushr.sh.
